Fragad\u00eds<\/b>, founded in 1959 and based in La Canonja (Tarragon\u00e9s), is a retail distribution group that operates under the brands\u00a0Spar, Eurospar and Fragad\u00eds<\/b>. Associated with\u00a0Euromadi<\/b>\u00a0purchasing center, it has a network of 140 supermarkets located mainly in the province of Tarragona, Barcelona and Castell\u00f3n<\/p>\n

In 2017,\u00a0Fragad\u00eds<\/b>\u00a0registered sales of 170 million euros, which represented an increase of 8% compared to 2016, where it obtained sales of 157 million and a profit of 4,8 million euros.<\/p>\n

With this acquisition, the annualized figures for\u00a0Fragad\u00eds<\/b>\u00a0will represent approximately 270 million euros, with over\u00a0200 supermarket stores.<\/p>\n

Successors of Pedro Soriano Buforn (SPBS)<\/b>, based in La Vila Joiosa (Alicante), is an independent chain of supermarkets that operates 56 establishments under the\u00a0Masymas<\/b>\u00a0brand, 4 wholesale supermarkets under the\u00a0Eurocas<\/b>h banner and a franchise line of proximity stores under the brand\u00a0Tandy<\/b>. The establishments are distributed between the provinces of Valencia and Alicante.<\/p>\n

SPBS<\/b>\u00a0posts sales of more than 90 million euros, with a workforce around 600 workers.<\/p>\n
