Eat Out – FresCo- ang.
The fast food group Grupo Eat Out, belonging to Agrolimen, has bought the FrescCo group from the Arrese brothers, for an undisclosed amount. This operation reinforces its growth plan consisting of integrating fast food restaurant networks in order to strengthen its position in this sector.
Created in 1992, the FrescCo group is a chain of restaurants specialized in healthy eating, offering salads, soups, pastas and pizzas via an open buffet. It currently has a network of 15 restaurants spread over Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Alicante and Girona. In 2004 it had a turnover of around 10 million euros and plans to open new stores in Bilbao and Zaragoza.
The Grupo Eat Out is the Agrolimen subsidiary that groups its fast food companies. It operates through the brands Pans & Company, Bocatta, Fresh & Ready, Pastafiore, Caffe di Fiore, Terracotta and Loja das Sopas. It has 480 restaurants that employ some 4,500 professionals, with an approximate turnover of 200 million euros.
