Condis– Binipreu – ENG

CS Corporate Advisors advised on the acquisition of Binipreu.

The supermarket company Condis has completed the purchase of the assets of the Menorcan distribution company Dispreu Logística, owner of the Binipreu chain, after receiving approval from the National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC).

The acquisition marks Condis‘s entry into the Balearic market. The transaction, advised by CS Corporate Advisors, includes the eight Binipreu supermarkets, all located in Menorca, three logistics platforms on the same island, and the Binipreu Menorca shopping center, located in Maó. Condis will simultaneously assume the supply of approximately twenty franchised stores operating under different brands.

Owned by the private equity fund Portobello and its management team, the chain has a total of 740 stores, both company-owned and franchised, of which more than 240 are located in the city of Barcelona.

In 2024—the last year for which figures are available—Condis, headquartered in Montcada i Reixac (Vallès Occidental), achieved a turnover of €807 million and recorded a net profit of €21.7 million. Dispreu Logística, for its part, earned €47 million in the same year and a profit of €198,052 after taxes.
