CS Corporate Advisors has advised Antex Tèxtil SA in the acquisition of Walker Garne GmbH.

Anglès Textil S.A. (Antex), is a privately owned textile group founded in 1968, whose activity is focused on the production of synthetic yarns, mainly polyester and nylon, through its production plants in Anglès (Girona), Brazil and Mexico.

Antex has consolidated sales of 130 million euros and is one of the main groups in its sector. The main sectors where it operates are automotive, decoration, fashion, technical fabrics and sportswear, with a presence in the main countries of the EU, Mercosur and other international markets.

The acquisition of Walker Garne is included in the strategic plan of inorganic expansion at the international level of Grupo Antex.

Walker Garne GmbH, based in Illertissen (Germany), is a company with a long history in the production of innovative yarns for textile and technical applications.

Its portfolio of services covers the areas of dyeing, in particular polyamide and polyester, as well as yarn twisting. These threads are applied to a multitude of products such as orthopedic articles, sportswear, etc.

Yarn producer Allgäu Zimmermann acquired Walker Garne GmbH about five years ago. With the sale, Zimmermann has found a specialized and experienced partner to enable the optimization of production as well as the long-term supply of high-quality products.
