CS Corporate Advisors has advised Caprabo on the sale of supermarkets to Cooperativa Consum.

The Valencian distribution cooperative Consum has acquired 63 supermarkets from the Catalan chain Caprabo in the Valencian Community (48) Castilla-La Mancha (6), Murcia (5) and Andalusia ( 4), as well as two logistic platforms.

The acquisiotn represents an important leap for Consum, which now manages 550 points of sale, and which is now “consolidating” its areas of influence and making progress in Andalusia.

Caprabo emphasizes that this deal is one more step in its business plan to «focus on its expansion and growth activity» on Catalonia, Madrid, Navarra and the Balearic Islands.
