The real estate fund BBVA Property has bought the headquarters of the newspaper Avui in Barcelona from Expofinques, for a total amount of 12 million eros. The building, located at 84 Enric Granados street, has a total area of ​​3,522 square meters.

Avui is owned by Corporació Catalana de Comunicació, a company controlled by the Planeta and Godó Groups and owned by the Institut Català de Finances (ICF), the Generalitat’s credit body.

This acquisition of BBVA is part of the general purchasing policy of the group’s real estate fund, which plans to carry out new investments throughout 2007 in the market for offices and commercial premises
