CS Corporate has advised Mirai Investments on the axquisition of the company to Imat Mobiliario y Diseño

Imat Mobiliario y Diseño is a family-run company based in Vitoria (Alava) with over 50 years of history, manufacturing airport furniture, with an approximate turnover of 5,0 million euros in 2024.

Imat is recognized as an European leader in its sector, specializing in the production of airport seating, a high-value, top-quality and vandal-resistant product. It currently exports over 80% of its sales and has presence on the five continents.

Aena is one of its main clients, with which it has carried out emblematic projects such as Terminal T4 at Madrid Airport. It has also supplied products to major international airports in Italy, Portugal, Brazil, Egypt and Dubai.

Mirai Investments is a family-owned business project specialized in SME investments, chaired by Basque businessman José Antonio Jainaga. The project aims to create more robust, competitive and sustainable companies in the long term.

Imat will become part of Innometal, the metal processing division belonging to Mirai Investments, the Basque Institute of Finance (IVF) and the Vital Foundation, among others.
