The Portuguese multinational Corticeira Amorim, a listed group with sales over 450 million euros, has acquired a majority stake in Trefinos, leader in the production of cork stoppers for the viticulture industry in Spain, and posting sales of approximately 36 million euros.

With this operation, Corticeira Amorim has established itself as the world’s leading producer of cork stoppers for wines and sparkling wines.
